Welcoming House Guests

It's that time of year when families and friends come together for a plethora of events and holidays.  If there happens to be lots of miles between those families and friends, this can mean house guests.  House guests especially around this time of year can be exciting, but they can also represent an added responsibility and stress.

How do you make your guests feel welcome with minimal stress?  Start by thinking about what you need and desire when you're a guest in someone's home.  Outside of clean sheets, you'll want to have many of the items already out and waiting in your guest bedroom.  Some of the items that I thought of were clean towels, bottles of water, travel size toiletries, internet passwords, maybe a list of nearby restaurants, and snacks.  This is where a gift basket can make your life much easier.

This is the Fall Snack Attack basket, and it's filled with all kinds of sweet and salty goodies just in case one of your guests gets the midnight munchies.

For a healthier breakfast or mid-day oriented option, check out the Heart Healthy basket below.

If you pick up both baskets, you could place one in the kitchen for easy access during the day, and the other one in the guest bedroom.  Then your guests would really be able to find whatever they needed whether you're around or not. Both baskets are available at PanhandleBaskets.com.
