Come See Me in Navarre!!

I will be doing my first vendor show in Navarre on December 1st (this coming weekend).  If you haven't had a chance to see any of the beautiful La Bella Baskets yet, this is your chance as I'll have many of them on display.  We'll even be doing a free drawing, so if you're in the area be sure to at least drop in and put your name in the bowl for a chance to win a free basket.  Plus, this is a great way to help out families in our local community as your admission is simply a non-perishable food item which will later be distributed to families in need throughout the area.

Thanksgiving and Fall Bouquets

While La Bella Baskets is known for their baskets, they also have some other great products such as flowers and cookie bouquets.

This fall cookie bouquet is lots of fun!  Each cookie comes individually wrapped, and they will stay fresh for up to two weeks.  This could easily be used as a centerpiece for a kids table, or as a fun display that could be sent home cookie by cookie (remember they are individually wrapped) with your guests.
The Season's Delight floral bouquet has some great fall colors incorporated into it.  To keep the flowers as fresh as possible, all of our flowers are overnighted to you from the grower.  It doesn't get much fresher than that!

As always, these are available at PanhandleBaskets.com.

Welcoming House Guests

It's that time of year when families and friends come together for a plethora of events and holidays.  If there happens to be lots of miles between those families and friends, this can mean house guests.  House guests especially around this time of year can be exciting, but they can also represent an added responsibility and stress.

How do you make your guests feel welcome with minimal stress?  Start by thinking about what you need and desire when you're a guest in someone's home.  Outside of clean sheets, you'll want to have many of the items already out and waiting in your guest bedroom.  Some of the items that I thought of were clean towels, bottles of water, travel size toiletries, internet passwords, maybe a list of nearby restaurants, and snacks.  This is where a gift basket can make your life much easier.

This is the Fall Snack Attack basket, and it's filled with all kinds of sweet and salty goodies just in case one of your guests gets the midnight munchies.

For a healthier breakfast or mid-day oriented option, check out the Heart Healthy basket below.

If you pick up both baskets, you could place one in the kitchen for easy access during the day, and the other one in the guest bedroom.  Then your guests would really be able to find whatever they needed whether you're around or not. Both baskets are available at PanhandleBaskets.com.

Thanksgiving Hostess Gift

Thanksgiving is probably one of the hardest events for being a hostess, so show your hostess how much you appreciate all of their hard work by gifting them with more than a trivial token of your appreciation.  After all, they've worked hard for days to make this day special for you.  Shouldn't your gift match their level of effort?  Our fall and Thanksgiving themed baskets make the perfect gift for your Thanksgiving hostess.  The basket pictured above includes sparkling apple cider, Wisconsin cheese, summer sausage, coffee, cheddar cheese popcorn, and much more.  The recipient will be able to kick their heels up and relax on Friday while they pair leftover turkey with the ample contents the Thanksgiving Gourmet basket.  This basket can be found at PanhandleBaskets.com.

Starbucks Gift Basket

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love my Starbucks!  Probably one of my most exciting finds as of late has been the Starbucks gift baskets that are in the store right now.  They come in a broad range of sizes and prices which makes them perfect for almost any occasion, and a lot of the baskets mix it up a bit and even include some tea.  You can see all of the available options at the website PanhandleBaskets.com.

The Scents of Fall

I don't know about you, but fall is one of my favorite times of the year.  I love the cooler temperatures, the light weight sweaters, and the gorgeous colors, but I especially like the smells that are associated with fall.  To celebrate the season, there are now fall scented candles available in the store!

If you've never bought one of our candles, you are in for a real treat.  I'm told that they come from the U.S., and they aren't even poured until after an order is placed.  It can't get much fresher than that!  Plus, they're soy candles which I adore because most soy candles tend to burn longer and stronger than the regular paraffin ones that I have in my collection.  Honestly, the only reason paraffin candles are still in my house is because I keep choosing to burn my soy ones over them.  I can't even remember the last time I bought a paraffin candle.  Sorry for the slight rabbit trail.  Aside from their soy consistency, the candles themselves are are also a bit unique.  Instead of simply pouring the wax into the jar to give us a lovely jar candle, wax is also poured into the hollow cavity of the candle lid creating a second mini candle.  I've never seen anything quite like this.  It's almost like being given a free bonus candle with every purchase.  With scents like apple gingerbread, caramel pecan, cinnamon danish, fresh apples, hazelnut cappuccino, orange spice, pumpkin pie, and warm apple streudel, you're sure to find the perfect scent for your home.  Come visit us at PanhandleBaskets.com.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Tomorrow is Opening Day!

It's hard to believe, but as of tomorrow morning, Panhandle Baskets and Gifts will officially be up and running.  I've been fielding a few questions over the weekend regarding how exactly the store works.  Basically I am now a consultant for a company called La Bella Baskets.  Being one of their consultants is similar to being a consultant for other companies such as Tupperware, Scentsy, or Avon.  One of the differences that I've seen between those companies and La Bella is that they encourage you to brand your consultant business, and I've chosen to brand mine as Panhandle Baskets and Gifts.  However, I am still selling La Bella products.  When you place an order, the product is shipped straight from their supplier.

So, why did I decide to go with La Bella?  There are many companies out there that are known for utilizing consultants as their primary means for product distribution.  I've already mentioned a few of them in the proceeding paragraph.  Basically, I chose La Bella over the others for its practicality and marketability.  Everyone gives gifts at one point or another.  It's our way of telling the people around us that we're thinking about them, that we appreciate them, or that we value them in some way.  Last year I was on the hunt for a nice gift basket to send a business contact, but I never could find exactly what I was looking for.  Eventually I decided to simply settle on something, but I was irritated that I couldn't find the exact basket that I was picturing before I started my hunt.  The great thing about La Bella Baskets is that they design gift baskets and other items for literally any occasion.  Had I been able to find them when I was on my gift basket hunt, I would have got just what I was looking for.  The cookie bouquet below would have most definitely been my choice.

Who do you need a gift for?  Let me know the situation, and I would be more than happy to help you find the perfect gift.  There's no longer any reason to drive yourself mad like I did looking for an appropriate gift.

You can find this cookie bouquet and many others at PanhandleBaskets.com

Counting Down...

We are counting down the days until the grand opening of Panhandle Baskets.  There is still lots of work left to be done, but we will officially open on Monday morning!  I know I'm a bit of a dork, but I can't wait for our business and postcards to arrive in the mail later this week.  I spent hours creating these.  So I "might" be a bit biased, but they should look fabulous!  You can be sure that I will be showing them off when they arrive.  In the mean time, feel free to check out our website at PanhandleBaskets.com.  Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
