The Scents of Fall
I don't know about you, but fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the cooler temperatures, the light weight sweaters, and the gorgeous colors, but I especially like the smells that are associated with fall. To celebrate the season, there are now fall scented candles available in the store!
If you've never bought one of our candles, you are in for a real treat. I'm told that they come from the U.S., and they aren't even poured until after an order is placed. It can't get much fresher than that! Plus, they're soy candles which I adore because most soy candles tend to burn longer and stronger than the regular paraffin ones that I have in my collection. Honestly, the only reason paraffin candles are still in my house is because I keep choosing to burn my soy ones over them. I can't even remember the last time I bought a paraffin candle. Sorry for the slight rabbit trail. Aside from their soy consistency, the candles themselves are are also a bit unique. Instead of simply pouring the wax into the jar to give us a lovely jar candle, wax is also poured into the hollow cavity of the candle lid creating a second mini candle. I've never seen anything quite like this. It's almost like being given a free bonus candle with every purchase. With scents like apple gingerbread, caramel pecan, cinnamon danish, fresh apples, hazelnut cappuccino, orange spice, pumpkin pie, and warm apple streudel, you're sure to find the perfect scent for your home. Come visit us at PanhandleBaskets.com. I look forward to seeing you there!

Tomorrow is Opening Day!
It's hard to believe, but as of tomorrow morning, Panhandle Baskets and Gifts will officially be up and running. I've been fielding a few questions over the weekend regarding how exactly the store works. Basically I am now a consultant for a company called La Bella Baskets. Being one of their consultants is similar to being a consultant for other companies such as Tupperware, Scentsy, or Avon. One of the differences that I've seen between those companies and La Bella is that they encourage you to brand your consultant business, and I've chosen to brand mine as Panhandle Baskets and Gifts. However, I am still selling La Bella products. When you place an order, the product is shipped straight from their supplier.
So, why did I decide to go with La Bella? There are many companies out there that are known for utilizing consultants as their primary means for product distribution. I've already mentioned a few of them in the proceeding paragraph. Basically, I chose La Bella over the others for its practicality and marketability. Everyone gives gifts at one point or another. It's our way of telling the people around us that we're thinking about them, that we appreciate them, or that we value them in some way. Last year I was on the hunt for a nice gift basket to send a business contact, but I never could find exactly what I was looking for. Eventually I decided to simply settle on something, but I was irritated that I couldn't find the exact basket that I was picturing before I started my hunt. The great thing about La Bella Baskets is that they design gift baskets and other items for literally any occasion. Had I been able to find them when I was on my gift basket hunt, I would have got just what I was looking for. The cookie bouquet below would have most definitely been my choice.
Who do you need a gift for? Let me know the situation, and I would be more than happy to help you find the perfect gift. There's no longer any reason to drive yourself mad like I did looking for an appropriate gift.

Counting Down...
We are counting down the days until the grand opening of Panhandle Baskets. There is still lots of work left to be done, but we will officially open on Monday morning! I know I'm a bit of a dork, but I can't wait for our business and postcards to arrive in the mail later this week. I spent hours creating these. So I "might" be a bit biased, but they should look fabulous! You can be sure that I will be showing them off when they arrive. In the mean time, feel free to check out our website at PanhandleBaskets.com. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
